In a few months the World Series of Poker will begin. Nearly every online poker room is offering seats to the main even. Usually a $13,000 package. There are satellite entries that only cost $1. Chris Moneymaker did it in 2003 for only $40…and he won $2.5 million. Last year the winner won $8.5 million.
I can't imagine why anyone would try one of the free tournaments to win the $10,000 seat.
There's one site that is offering an additional $10 million if you qualify thru them and then go on to win the main event.
It's definitely worth the effort to enter the free tournaments below. Each site offers the tournys at different times.
There is alot of players qualifying through these free tournaments…You can even enter through WSOP satellite freerolls. I imagine everyone will try the freerolls, but hey why not.
Poker Stars
Carbon Poker
Full Tilt Poker
UltimateBet Poker
…be sure to post your satellite results.

thanks for the info…I heard there was a site you could enter the WSOP main event for only 10 cents….I am sure you have to win a few tournies, but it sounds interesting.

I really would like to hear of someone making the main event or $1 or even 10 cents…that would be awesome.

It sounds terrific to quailify for 1 dollar, but usually have to beat thousands of players to get the package. But one day, anybody can get luck. I hope that the bwin going to organize some online qualifier.

1000 players can be in a satellite tournament, especially if it is a free entry. This is a big hurdle. I remember entering numerous lucky dollar tournies on pokerroom and several times made it in the top 30. I recently played in the largest online tournament of 35,000 players. It cost $10. I finished in the top 4000. That was a tough ladder to climb.
My point is this…if someone like me can make it high in these tournies and you are a regular poker player – you have a good chance. Don’t let the numbers in these tournies intimidate you. It can be done. Just look at Chris Moneymaker…

Talk about a lottery. on line qualifiers for a buck are a waste of your time. Better off getting to the WSOP and doing a mega-satellite or a 1-4 table satellite for your seat.
