What is your Favorite Poker Hand

My favorite hand is 72o of course because it is so awesome when they hit and ppl you're playing with are shocked you didn't fold pre-flop. And of course American Airlines. I just can't see the situation I could possibly think about folding that hand pre-flop. Maybe on a bubble stage.

My friend hates getting QQ and always goes alling with regardless to the tournament stage or the chip stack. Just lets the cards do the job.

i would have to say my favourite is jack 10 suited. it gives the the option of a high straight where people might have top pair and be betting against your straight, it gives you a flush draw, and also gives you resonable cards to hit pairs on

The simple answer to this question is 'whatever wins' Wink

I do have a 'lucky hand' though. For some reason, whenever I get 3,4 suited, it seems to come through about two times out of three. I will usually at least see the flop with it. If many high cards come out, I'll fold, but the times that I do stay in, it mostly pays. I've become quite superstitious about it!

One night, I even told the rest of the table that I had it. Of course they thought I was hiding a good hand, and several folded. The ones that stayed in were aghast when a) I showed those actual cards and b) I drew a straight on the river. Now all I have to say is “hmm, my lucky hand” and people get real twitchy lol.

Just a couple of final thoughts on my 3,4 lucky hand: It seems that the black suits are luckier than the red ones (I'm really glad I started this post, it's really made me think!). And given that A,K only works on average one out of three ('Anna Kournikova – looks good but doesn't win very much. My favourite acronym!), then I would argue that my lucky hand has won me more chips than that high-card combination.

89 suited always looks so good for some reason, because it's kind of sneaky when it hits I guess Cool

Pair of 9's is favourite starting hand, probably because i have done so well with it.

Problem is you need to raise pr-flop to stop limpers, then need to keep firing in bets.

Can get caught out at times but great buzz when pulling it off.

Do find it hard to lay down A -10

Middle suited connecters are great sleepers.
