nexgen clay chips are the best in my oppinion. clay chip sound better when they hit each other when tossed into the pot or when riffled and they have a better feel than the normal plastic chips

Paulson makes the best chips. Real clay and the same as used in the casinos. Slugged plastic dice chips are the worst.

Just played with some Paulsons today, they are amazing! Tried the Nexgen Pro 9g chips but they feel too plasticy for my taste. I also like the 10g ceramic chips you can get customized, those come in second in my book.

i use clay composite chips with the metal inlay for a 14 gram chip. are paulson or others better yes they are but is it cost efective?
i like the chips i have and 4 places i play at uses the same chips and out of about 60 people have not heard a complaint. so for a nice chip with a good price go to pjcc worldwide have not seen a better price they have lots of choices (custom also) and will send you a few samples at no cost
the ones i use are under metal-inlay with denomination unfortanally they are out right now and waiting for more i got my 1000 piece (yes 1000) set with case for 154.00 that include delivery
just a side note kinda a wierd site everythig from painted pony ornaments to freezers

8002 Poker Chips. The next generation of poker chip manufacturing technology.”These 12 gram Vegas Style Chips are 39 mm diameter casino sized chips and are designed with the authentic casino style, weight and unique edgespot design. The words “LAS VEGAS NEVADA USA” are embedded in the outer diameter of the chip.
The Series 8002 Chips incorporates a unique patented process giving them the soft feel of a clay surface which makes them the most authentic poker chip available on the home gaming market. Additionally, this same process allows for multi-colored edgespots, resembling that of casino clay poker chips.
With an inconspicuous metal insert, these exclusive new chips were created by the use of the latest technology to produce the real sound and coloration of an actual Casino chip. When our engineers produced these chips, we couldn't believe they had an insert – they sound that great! Additionally, its recessed center allows for the application of custom-designed 1″ labels.
my conclusion is they are composite and diff. wieght on them
