all-in no limit scenario question

Hoping someone could help me with this question. The game “No-Limit Texas Hold em'” – - Here is the scenario, Blinds are $1000 & $2000 – two players call the big blind and then the player in the big blind goes all-in for a total of $1500. Now here's the question: what options do the remaining players in the hand have?

1) Call, raise or fold?

2) Or, does the remaining players have to raise to a single blind in order to call the all-in?

3) Or, can the players only fold to or call the all-in if it is less than half a blind but can fold, call or raise if the all-in bet is larger than half a blind but less than a full blind?

4) Or does this scenario play out like a limit game where if the all-in bet is less than half a bet they can call, but if the raise is less than a full bet but is a half bet or greater, they have to complete a full bet.

As you can see, we have had several different procedures thrown at us and I'm not sure which is correct. Personally, I believe “3″ above is the correct procedure. But any help anyone can offer would be appreciated.

thanks . . .

Well, since the all-in doesn't even meet the full BB…I would say that any player just has to call.

But what do I know…  Wink

it would make no difference., bb checks/raises and everyone else calls/checks/raises.

3/4 bb isnt going to scare off most punters.Confused

the bb has no choice he is forced to go all so all other players have any choice they want

we play diff. if blinds are like you said but any 1 player at the table does not matter which 1 pushes all in and has between 2000-3900 then its raise with no reraise  untill next cards/card are laid (flop, turn, or river) then play resumes as normal. the first player that push all in did not have enough to make a min raise is what  determin this and thinking back on it not sure how we came up with this way been to long i guess lol and like big cards said what do i know

ok so 2 players call big blind(2000) then by the sounds of it i think u meant the big blind goes all in for a further 1500 (3500 total) in this case the options the remaining players have is to call or fold as it isnt a full raise there is no option of reraising . if the big blind only has 1500 total then they are all in blind and the 2 callers for 2000 have created his pot of 4500 and side of 1000 there is no other option preflop but i think u meant a further 1500.
